Comment

This coin was released as part of the RAM 2016 Mint and Proof Sets and commemorates the Changeover 50 years ago to decimal currency in Australia. It is unusual in that the Obverse of the coin has a miniature Ian Rank-Broadly Queens Head and a representation of an Australian One Shilling coin as issued between 1953 to 1964. The Reverse of the coin is the same as a standard definitive Fifty Cent coin This coin was issued into circulation via Mint Rolls and sealed Mint Bags. This was the BU Mint Set.
