Real palm tree is the national tree of Cuba, it shows at the coat of arms, and also is included in the Intur logo. This tree is very common at Cuba, reaching 25/30 meters high, and even 40 m, with leaves about 6 meters long. Easily identified by the shape of the trunk, bulged below top, and a long vertical button on top. This coin was struck at Havana.
It was detected a variant on background, one with clear waves on background and grass under the palm, and very weak and fewer details on the other.
