Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Non-circulating coin 50 Cedis (FAO) ND (1984) from Ghana is that it was issued to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Ghana's independence from British colonial rule. The coin features the national emblem of Ghana, the Black Star, on one side and the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) emblem on the other. The coin's design was created by the Ghanaian artist, A.A. Owusu-Ansah.
