Interesting fact
The Pattern 5 Zlotys coin was designed by Polish artist and sculptor, Antoni Madeyski, and features a portrait of King Władysław I Łokietek on the obverse side, while the reverse side depicts the Polish coat of arms. The coin was minted in 1934 as a trial strike, which means that it was not intended for circulation and was instead produced as a sample or proof coin. As a result, only a small number of these coins were minted, making them highly sought after by collectors.
