Interesting fact
The 5 Zhu - Wu coin with an inner rim from the Southern dynasties (Northern and Southern dynasties) weighs 2.14 grams, which is relatively light compared to other coins of similar denominations from the same period. This is because the coin was made with a combination of copper and other metals, such as tin or lead, which were less valuable than the pure copper coins used in other dynasties. Despite its relatively low weight, the coin still maintained its value and was widely used in trade and commerce during its time.
