Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique reverse design, which was modified from the traditional St. George and the Dragon design, to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the accession of Henry VIII. The modified design includes a cameo portrait of Henry VIII, surrounded by a decorative border and the inscription "HENRICUS VIII D G ANGLIE ET FRANCIE REX" (Henry VIII, by the grace of God, King of England and France). This special design was only used for the 5 Sovereigns coin minted in 2009 and 2010, making it a distinctive and sought-after collector's item.
