The Pattern 5 Rupees coin from Pakistan features a unique design that showcases the country's cultural heritage. The obverse side of the coin features a representation of the Mohenjo-Daro ruins, which are the remains of an ancient Indus Valley Civilization city that dates back to around 2500 BCE. The reverse side of the coin features a stylized representation of a cotton plant, which is one of Pakistan's major crops. The coin's design was created by the renowned Pakistani artist, Syed Ali Ahsan, and it was minted in 2001 to commemorate the country's 50th anniversary of independence.
