In the centre of the disc – a fragment of the fortress wall with the tower of the Rostov Kremlin (XVIIth century), to the left – the Church of the Virgin Odygitriya (built in 1698), to the right – the Church of St. John the Theologian (built in 1683). The inscription at the bottom on the ring along the rim – «РОСТОВ» (ROSTOV).
