The Battle of Vyazma commemorative coin was issued in 2012 to mark the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Vyazma, which took place during the Napoleonic Wars. The coin features an image of the Russian army marching towards the battlefield on one side, and the Russian coat of arms on the other. The coin's design was created by prominent Russian artist, Vladimir A. Artyakov.
