Interesting fact

The 5 Réis coin from Angola, issued during the reign of José I (1752-1757), was made of copper and weighed 3.58 grams. Despite its small size and relatively low denomination, this coin was an important part of the Angolan economy during the 18th century, as it was widely used for everyday transactions and was also used as a form of currency in the Portuguese colonies in Africa.
