Different groups of dies are known.Obverse
Die 1 from model 1879 - large central dots in decorations, thin script to LIBERTAS.
Note: each year different thickness of letters and digits.
Reverse
Die A from model 1879 - numeral "5" thick, to the right of it the inner tendrils have shape of ark of a circle, wide ribbon.
Note: there are many differences in shape and thickness of details, most probably due to die polishing. Here is an example of the shape of a left tendril.
