Information:- In 1967, the silver and bronze price increased, accordingly the Ministry of Finance recalled the standard 1960 silver coin - see links - and a presidential decree was issued to authorize minting this coin made out of copper nickle.
- This is the first 5 Qirsh Egyptian coin not to be made of silver.
- This observe of this coin was mistakenly minted with KM414 which resulted in a mule coin - see links
