The Crown Jewels, part of the Royal Collection, are the most powerful symbols of the British Monarchy and hold deep religious and cultural significance in Britain’s history. The Crown Jewels have been stored and displayed at the Tower of London since 1661, continuing a long tradition of storing precious objects there.The second of four coins in the 2019 Tower of London series, produced in association with Historic Royal Palaces. The design features the Tower of London mint mark on the reverse and was also struck in copper-nickel, silver proof, silver piedfort and gold proof. Issue limit: 1,160.
