Comment
This coin with the Jody Clark obverse was only issued in the Platinum Annual set and was issued to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. The coin was also struck in a variety of denominations and metals. Issue limit: 30.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Platinum Jubilee Platinum Piedfort coin is that it features a unique double effigy design, with two portraits of Queen Elizabeth II on opposite sides of the coin. This is the first time that a British coin has featured two portraits of the monarch. The design is meant to symbolize the Queen's 70 years on the throne and her commitment to serving the Commonwealth.
