Comment

This is the re-issue of the series issued by all Channel Isles in 2003-2005 but in 2009 coins were issued with new portrait of the Queen designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
What is more, base metal coins were minted in proof finish and also with coloured flag (in first series flag was not coloured and finish was BUNC).

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design on its reverse side, showcasing a depiction of the HMS Warspite, a British battleship that played a significant role in World War II. The coin's design also includes an inscription of the ship's name and the year it was launched, 1915. This coin is a great collector's item for anyone interested in naval history or British military memorabilia.
