Part of set of 18 coins (6 from Alderney, 6 from Cayman and 6 from Solomon Islands)

Krauze catalogues lists also gold version of this coin however there is no trace of these coins (Royal Mint archived documentation says only about silver coins in sales)

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it was issued to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the end of World War I, and the design on the reverse side of the coin features a soldier returning home from war, symbolizing the end of the conflict and the beginning of a new era of peace.
