The seventh design in the Chinese Lunar Year - Shēngxiào Collection, there were several different strikes for the Year of the Rat with varying compositions and denominations which all share P.J. Lynch's design. However, this was the first time the Lunar Series design was issued in copper-nickel. Sales 14,428 in BU packaging, while 4,750 were sold to third parties.
