The third of a set of 3 coins issued to commemorate the Queen's reign, issued individually, the design was struck in silver and gold in a variety of denominations. The mintage comprises Royal Mint packaging (39,201 sales) and trade packaging to third parties (9,960 sales).

Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design that commemorates the Queen's reign and her role as the Head of the Commonwealth. The coin's reverse side depicts a portrait of Elizabeth II, surrounded by a wreath of Commonwealth floral emblems, representing the 53 member countries of the Commonwealth. This design was created by sculptor and engraver, Jody Clark, and it is the first time that a coin has been issued to celebrate the Queen's reign in such a way.
