Released to commemorate the 70th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in a Brilliant Uncirculated presentation folder and a Philatelic Numismatic Cover. This design was also struck in silver proof, silver piedfort and gold proof.There were 11 different issues of varying metals and denominations which all share the Etienne Millner obverse. However, the £25 platinum, £5 platinum piedfort, £10 gold/silver and 1kg gold/silver have an alternate John Bergdahl reverse which depicts the heraldic lineage of the two families.
