Despite their relatively high mintage and being available at face value from most post offices and banks, the ordinary business strike was a Royal Mint commemorative issue and not intended for general circulation.This design was also issued in Annual Proof set as well as in a Brilliant Uncirculated individual pack, the coin was soo struck in silver proof, reverse frosted silver proof, gold proof and reverse frosted gold proof.
