Issued exclusively at the Royal Mint Experience, the coin could only be purchased in the Royal Mint shop. It is a redesign of the last round pound coin and unusually struck as a base proof strike. This £5 design was originally issued with the Queen Elizabeth II effigy on the obverse but was updated to the Charles III with updated packaging also. It was part of a set of 5.
