Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design on its reverse side, which depicts a portrait of Dame Shirley Bassey, a renowned Welsh singer, actress, and philanthropist. This design was created by sculptor and designer, Gary Breeze, and it is the first time that Dame Bassey has been featured on a British coin. The coin's obverse side, on the other hand, bears the standard effigy of King Charles III, as required by the Royal Mint.
