Comment

Viñales Valley is placed on occidental part of Cuba, in the Pinar del Rio province.
This valley and part of the mountains around were pronounced National Park of Cuba and also Natural Patrimony of the Humanity by UNESCO; both on 1999.
The coin shows valley landscapes, with dense vegetation and high mountains around, and on front a colorized Tocororo (Cuban Torogon), that is the national bird of Cuba, this bird shows the same colors of Cuban flag, and soon dies in captivity, this was taken as a symbol of the Cubans desire of freedom.

Interesting fact
