This coin was minted to test a new alloy, named "Nuremberg Gold", containing 5% gold, 90% copper, and 5% other metals. Authorities didn't like the results, so was rejected. Not listed on Krause.For this coin were used the same dies as on KM# 326, only changed year, so metal and weight do not match the ones of the coin.
Slavery was abolished at Cuba on 1886, enacted by the law signed by the regent queen of Spain, Maria Cristina de Habsburgo.
