Interesting fact

The 5 Pesos coin from Chile, minted between 1981 and 1990, has a unique feature. It's not a widely known fact, but the coin's designer, Leopoldo Gomez, included a subtle detail on the coin's obverse side. If you look closely, you'll notice that the coin's central image, a portrait of Chile's national hero, Bernardo O'Higgins, is actually looking towards the right side of the coin, rather than straight ahead or to the left. This was a deliberate design choice made by Gomez to symbolize O'Higgins' leadership and vision for the future of Chile.
