There is a known error mule (KM# 811) which has 1975 instead 1980 on the obverse.

The 1982 FIFA World Cup was the 12th FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial football tournament for men's senior national teams, and was played in Spain from 13 June to 11 July 1982. The tournament was won by Italy, who defeated West Germany 3–1 in the final held in the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in the capital, Madrid.

The interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted to commemorate the wedding of King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofía in 1982, and it features an image of the royal couple on one side and the Spanish coat of arms on the other.
