One of the few coins that made the leap between Old and New Pesos. Coin was minted under the new currency keeping design and size, only face value changes from $100 to an N$5 denomination having three varieties.

Type I - Date to left, mintmark to right; raised devices (BW-909.2).
Type II - Date and mintmark to left; raised devices (BW-909.2b).
Type III - Date and mintmark to left; incused denomination (BW-909.2a).

According to Krause publication catalogs, the 2018 Standard Catalog of World Coins 1901-2000 (45th Edition) Pg 1550, ISBN: 1-4402-4797-8, and Harper's 2018 North American Coins & Prices (27th Edition) Pg 729, ISBN: 1-4402-4849-4, a total of 6,400 Proof and 4,580 BU were struck for these $100 and N$5 denominated coins.
