The People's Republic of Mozambique (1975-1990) had two Coat of Arms (First: 1975 - 1982 & Second: 1982-1990) However, the first Coat of Arms appeared on coins issued till 1994.
The new coat of arms i.e. Republic of Mozambique (1990-) appears on coins from 1994 issues.
