Interesting fact

The 5 Markkaa coin from Finland, issued between 1953 and 1962, has an interesting feature. It was designed by the artist, Erik Bruun, who included a subtle mistake in the design. The coin features a depiction of a reindeer, but if you look closely, you'll notice that the reindeer has only three legs. This error was intentionally added by Bruun as a nod to the traditional Finnish folktale, "The Legend of the Three-Legged Reindeer." According to the tale, a reindeer with three legs was said to have greater endurance and speed than those with four legs. This interesting fact adds a unique touch to the coin's design and makes it stand out among other coins.
