Previously AKS# 803 and AKS# 503.

The Berlin mint also produced commemorative coins for Mongolia which is how some coins were produced with a Mongolian inscription on the edge. Only two copies are known.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted in 1969 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the German Democratic Republic (GDR), also known as East Germany. The coin features an image of the GDR's coat of arms on one side and the number "20" on the other, surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves. Despite being made of a relatively inexpensive metal composition, the coin's historical significance and limited mintage make it a sought-after collector's item among numismatists today.
