The Israel Museum, located opposite the Knesset, Israel's parliament building and overlooking the Valley of the Cross is made up of a complex of buildings, some of which are unique in their appearance. The Samuel Bronfman Biblical and Archaelogical Museum houses many fine specimens of archeological finds from Israel and the Middle East.The Shrine of the Book houses the Dead Sea Scrolls, which were found in the Judean Desert, and manuscripts from biblical days.
The Billy Rose Garden includes a collection of sculptures dating from the 19th century to the present time. The Bezalel National Museum includes a rich collection of Judaica and other artistic works.
The BU coin is without mintmark, the proof coin have the letter "מ" (Mem) mintmark on the bottom of the pillar, to the right.
Varieties with edge lettering toward obverse and reverse exists, neither is particularly scarce.
