Interesting fact

The 5 Lei coin from 1948-1951 was the first coin to feature the image of King Carol II of Romania, who had recently been reinstated as monarch after the fall of the communist government. This coin was also unique in that it was made of aluminum, which was a departure from the traditional metals used in coin production at the time.
