There is depicted a book of ОСНОВНИЙ ЗАКОН УКРАЇНИ (Fundamental Law of Ukraine) against the background of the Verkhovna Rada building where the Constitution was adopted; in the foreground there is depicted a laurel branch. The 5 Hryven (Constitution of Ukraine) 2011 coin from Ukraine features an image of the Ukrainian Parliament building on its reverse side. This building is also known as the Verkhovna Rada, and it's the seat of the Ukrainian parliament. The coin's design was created by Ukrainian artist Volodymyr Demianenko, and it was issued to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.
