This coin celebrates the international coordination assembly of all Ukrainian public organizations in the diaspora, which has been representing the interests of millions of Ukrainians for 50 years. The purpose and objectives of the UWC are to promote democracy and human rights around the world, and support the independence, territorial integrity, national identity and economic prosperity of Ukraine – the spiritual homeland of Ukrainians who live abroad. In 2003, the UWC was recognized by the United Nations Economic and Social Council as a non-governmental organization with special consultative status.Interesting fact
