The coin commemorates twenty years since the adoption of the Ukrainian constitution. The 5 Hryven (20 Years of the Ukrainian Constitution) coin was issued in 2016 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Ukrainian Constitution. The coin features an image of the Ukrainian Parliament building on one side and the national emblem of Ukraine on the other. The coin's design was created by Ukrainian artist Volodymyr Demianenko, and it has a mintage of 5,000 pieces.
