Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design that represents the theme of fisheries and marine life. The obverse side of the coin depicts a traditional Comorian fishing boat, while the reverse side features a variety of fish species and a stylized wave pattern. This design was created by the Comorian artist, Abdallah Msabaha, and it was meant to highlight the importance of fisheries in the Comorian economy and culture.
