Interesting fact
This coin was designed by Jean-Pierre Droz, a French engraver and medalist who was known for his work during the Napoleonic era. The coin features a portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte on the obverse side, and an image of a woman representing France on the reverse side. The coin was minted in 1802, during the height of Napoleon's power and influence in Europe. Despite being a pattern coin, it was never officially adopted as a circulating coin, and only a small number of examples were struck. As a result, it is now a highly sought-after collector's item among numismatists.
