The Suomen Rahapaja, Finland's Mint, announces the start of a new series of coins with 5-euro bimetallic facials, dedicated to the "National Landscapes of Finland". The series consists of nine pieces that correspond to the favorite landscapes of its citizens, these were chosen in a vote during the summer of 2017. The series opens with the landscape that received the most votes, the «Koli National Park» located in North Karelia, sharing the design with one of the two commemorative 2 euro coins 2018 issued by Finland.
