Comment
The Palace of the Infantado, today headquarters of the Provincial Museum of Guadalajara, is the greatest architectural jewel of the city. It was built in the fifteenth century at the request of Don Íñigo López de Mendoza, second Duke of the Infantado, following the traces of the architect Juan Guas. It is a masterpiece of transition from Gothic to Renaissance style and one of the best examples of Spanish civil architecture.Interesting fact
