Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 5 Ducats - Frederik IV (Christiansborg) 1704 coin is that it was minted during a time of great change in Denmark. King Frederik IV, who ruled from 1699 to 1730, implemented a number of reforms during his reign, including the introduction of a new coinage system. This coin, which features an image of the king on one side and the Danish coat of arms on the other, was part of that new system and was used widely throughout Denmark and its territories. Despite its age, the coin remains a popular collector's item today, with many examples still in circulation among numismatists and history buffs.
