This uncirculated $5 Aluminium-bronze frosted coin features colour printing. Its design features a montage of Australia's 20 World Heritage sites, including the 11 penal sites which make up the Australian Convict Site. The coin's 2023 Memorial Obverse also features the effigy of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This coin is Australian legal tender.The Australian natural and cultural sites listed on the World Heritage Register are each unique, beautiful and valuable to humanity. Every site is featured in a stunning montage on this 2023 $5 Coloured Frosted Uncirculated Coin, celebrating Australia’s World Heritage. Released to coincide with the ICOMOS 21st General Assembly and Scientific Symposium, being hosted in Australia in 2023.
The coin was issued in a coincard and is the first Aluminium-bronze $5 coin issued since 2017.
