Three different coin designs were minted by the RAM in 2008 & 2009 to Commemorate the International Polar Year - issued in Boxed case and capsule with C.O.AA special version of this coin was issued with Gold Plate, 500 Copies only.
Australia Post released a folder containing this coin , a stamp minisheet and a cover, 500 folders were issued.
