Interesting fact

The Pied Cormorant coin was designed by New Zealand artist, Robert Gill, and features a unique design of a Pied Cormorant bird perched on a rock, surrounded by water. The coin's design was inspired by the natural beauty of New Zealand's coastlines and the Pied Cormorant's distinctive black and white feathers.
