Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1884 Pattern 5 Cents "1884 Nickel" is that it was designed by Charles E. Barber, who was the Chief Engraver of the United States Mint at the time. Barber's design features a depiction of Lady Liberty on the obverse (front) side of the coin, and a Roman numeral "V" on the reverse (back) side, representing the coin's denomination. The coin was minted in small quantities, with only 200 pieces produced, making it a rare and highly sought-after collector's item among numismatists.
