These coins were minted at the Monaco mint from 1837 to 1838 on new blanks using the Droz pendulum purchased from the Paris mint.
Weight: between 8.5g and 10g.
Interesting fact
The 5 Centimes coin was the smallest denomination coin in circulation during Honoré V's reign, and it was made of brass, a copper and zinc alloy that was commonly used for coinage in the 19th century.
