Gold presentation coin, struck on a matte blank and undated.Pierced edge: cornucopia and "OR". On the reverse, the outline of the face value in relief and the word "ESSAI" in relief. Wide listel.
This test has been struck with shocked corners, giving small raised marks on the blank. This feature was also seen on a silver and a bronze example, all struck with the same corners.
