The brass trials from the Dijon Chamber of Commerce bear a serial number stamped in the center circle. The 5 centime has also been observed without a number (not recorded by Elie 2003, see here).Interesting fact
The Pattern 5 Centimes coin was designed by French artist and engraver, Louis-Oscar Roty, who was also responsible for creating the iconic French coinage designs of the 20th century, including the 1929 Peace Dollar and the 1933 Gold 100 Francs.
