This type (and all from its series) are only known by patterns.Interesting fact
The Pattern 5 Cash coin was designed by the renowned Chinese artist, Xu Beihong, who was also a famous painter and calligrapher. He was commissioned by the government to design the coin, which features a portrait of Sun Yat-sen, the founder of the Republic of China, on one side, and the National Emblem of the Republic of China on the other. Xu Beihong's design was meant to symbolize the new republic's commitment to modernization and its break from traditional Chinese culture.
