King Bhumibol Adulyadej, son of Mahidol Adulyadej, Prince of Songkla, was born on December 5, 1927 in Cambridge (Massachusetts - USA).Crowned in 1950 under the dynastic name of Rama IX, he is the current King of Thailand.
