Interesting fact
The Obelisk of Theodosius, depicted on the 5,000,000 Lira gold coin from Turkey, is an ancient Egyptian obelisk that was brought to Constantinople (now Istanbul) by the Roman Emperor Theodosius in 390 AD. It is one of the few surviving examples of an Egyptian obelisk erected in the Hippodrome of a Roman city, and it remains a popular tourist attraction in Istanbul's Hippodrome today.
